5 Steps to Ramp Up and Reimagine Your Business
With more vaccinations becoming available and states shifting into new phases of opening up, some entreprenuers are beginning to ramp up too. Others are still pivoting, and I also have a few clients re-imagining their businesses.
No matter where you are, I believe that imagination, intuition, and co-creating with your higher power or higher-self are the keys to being the visionary in your business. Here are some simple steps to continually evolve your business:
Visualize. Close your eyes, take a couple of deep breaths and ask yourself these questions:
What is my ideal future state of my business?
What am I spending my time on? Who is on my team?
How does it feel when I envision myself in this future role, with my dream team supporting me?
What is my core business offering?
Create a Structure. Take a pen and paper out and draw a rough sketch of your future organizational chart. No worries if you’ve never had one. You don’t need any names, just future titles- think rough draft and getting it onto paper.
Identify the gap. What are the obstacles standing in the way of you having this future state of your business now? You don’t need to spend a lot of time on this. Simply braindump a list of everything that is standing in your way.
Imagine what’s possible. Next to each of your obstacles, I want you to ask your future self, what are the possibilities for how I can overcome this roadblock? Again, braindump it all onto the page. Are the obstacles you identified even real? Question whether they are true or whether they are limiting beliefs from your inner critic.
Take inspired action. Now that you have a bit more clarity on where you want your business to go, look at this vision often. I encourage you to speak the words out loud about what you really want for your business, and share it with like-minded people that you trust. This begins to bring you clues and inspiration into the actions to take next. When inspiration hits and an idea comes to you, take action on it. Small steps are fine. Momentum will build and your vision will be closer and closer each day.
This exercise can be done regularly as you evolve your business. Yes, things are rapidly changing right now, in most markets. The key to your success amongst all the change is that you stay in touch with the inner knowing that lies inside of YOU. I would love to hear what this brings up for you. DM me on social media or email me at ks@kristinswansonconsulting.com with the ideas that are emerging and what you are pursuing. The more you speak your vision into existence, the faster it will come to you.
