10 Affirmations for Productivity Shame
When you feel guilt and shame at the end of the day because you just didn’t get enough done, this is called, “productivity shame”. It’s a sneaky emotion that creeps in through self judgement and unrealistic expectations. Here are 10 affirmations to combat your productivity shame:
My worth is not tied to my to ‘do list’ or achievements
I take action on the RIGHT things
I pause and give my body what it needs, this makes me MORE productive
Quality of work is more important than quantity
I focus my time on what matters most
Where my attention goes, energy flows. I pay attention to my highest leverage actions
There will always be a list
I focus on my priorities first, before my inbox (someone else’s priority list)
I set realistic goals and expectations for myself
Progress is my priority, not perfection
